FUNCTIONAL MULTI-STROKE COMPETITION AMONG YOUNG GUARDS

     On the initiative of the Directorate of Protection of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, a functional multi-stroke competition for the Cup of the head of the directorate was held in the Nukus city on October 27.Students of specialized schools in the military-patriotic direction, located in Turtkul, Chimbay and Khojeyli districts, took part and also tested their skills. The teams' fulfillment of the competition conditions was evaluated by the judges.                          At the end of the competition, young guards who took an active part and fulfilled all the conditions clearly and without mistakes were awarded. As a result, the places were distributed as follows: the students of school № 18 of Turtkul district demonstrated their dexterity and took 1st place, the team of school № 15 of Khojeyli district took 2nd place. Young guards from school № 44 of the Nukus city took the 3rd place. The winners were awarded with a cup, medals, diplomas and valuable gifts. At the same time, the organizers also awarded the team of the school № 36 of the Chimbay district, which distinguished itself by special activity.                     Sport is the main means of promoting mutual harmony and friendship. Such competitions are also important because they serve the physical education of young people and the exchange of experience.

Youth tested themselves in functional all-around

As part of the development and popularization of functional all-around (aka crossfit) in the country, increasing the interest of young people in this sport, the other day the National Guard, together with the Federation of Functional All-around of Uzbekistan, held a Spartakiad competition in functional all-around among students of grades 7-9 of paramilitary schools located in the city Tashkent. At the beginning of the event, representatives of the federation told the participants about the work carried out throughout the republic to promote this new sport, about the opening of clubs in this area and wished the participants success. After that, a spectacular competition flared up between the young athletes, in which the youth tested their strength and skills. According to the final results of the Spartakiad, the winners were awarded diplomas, cups and valuable gifts from the National Guard and the sports organization "7Saber"

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the federation of functional all-around of the republic of uzbekistan and sports organizations

A few days ago, a meeting was organized at the Main Directorate of Protection of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan between the Federation of Functional All-Around and a number of sports organizations, at which issues related to the development and popularization of all-around were discussed.The event was attended by the Chairman of the Functional All-Around Federation, Deputy Commander of the National Guard Colonel Mamirzhon Ganiev, members of the Federation and representatives of a number of large sports organizations such as Tribe, BukaGym, Akhmat, 998. In order to further improve the functional all-around, popularize this sport among young people, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with these sports organizations.The meeting will bring the functional all-around to a new level, create new clubs in the regions, find young talents in this sport that requires strength, will and endurance, prepare new champions, organize national and international competitions, and create favorable conditions for athletes. A number of urgent tasks to further strengthen the material and technical base were also identified.

Athletes turn up in training

Functional all-around, also known as "crossfit", is a sport that combines the most difficult strength and gymnastic exercises, which is gaining popularity among the military personnel of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan and employees of the Main Security Directorate. Serves to strengthen the physical health of employees, their endurance in sports tests, to train energetic and strong-willed athletes. Today, qualified trainers of the Federation of Functional All-Around Conduct regular trainings among military personnel and employees of the National Guard, as well as arrange events for children in orphanages. Functional all-around is a training system capable of developing 10 basic human qualities at once: Endurance of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems;Body endurance; Force; Flexibility; Power; Rapidity; Coordination; Agility; Balance; Accuracy. It is based on weightlifting, artistic gymnastics, kettlebell lifting and all types of cardio loads, such as running, swimming, cycling and others. The purpose of promoting this sport is its introduction not only among military personnel and personnel, but also among all young people, citizens who want to improve their physical skills.

Functional all-around is a sport where multi-joint, energy-intensive movements are used, which are combined into a continuous set of exercises, using their own weight, free weights and cyclic work.The main tasks of functional all-around are the intensive development of various body systems and general health promotion.
